Hello I am Ryan McCarty and I will be embarking on this year’s trip to Ecuador. I go to Loyola Blakefield and will be graduating in 2016. I feel like partaking on the adventure will give me an experience that is so wonderful and so meaningful. When I return from the trip, I can use the experience I had to persuade my friends and acquaintances to contemplate taking place on next year’s Ecuador Mission’s Team. I look forward to this foray into finding God in others and especially in myself. This trip is a great thing to do for those around me and those I provide assistance for in the Damien House, and for me as well.

Marissa's Thoughts
At our meeting on Thursday, we learned how to introduce ourselves in Spanish, we continued learning about Ecuadorian culture, and we learned a little more about each other. The mood was a little lightened by jokes cracked by some team members and commonalities were discovered amongst ourselves. The anticipation continues to build as we began discussing our fundraisers. We have planned lollipop sales, Panera coupon sales, a pasta dinner and more. We appreciate your continued support through this journey, and we look forward to further interacting with other members of the Parish as your loving support continues.
